1966/7 UK 6th *STEREO* PRESSING LP

**NEAR MINT**

This NEAR MINT 1966/7 '6th' STEREO pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3042
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 2 label.

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' small stereo logo cover.
Complete with its original black & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1
Stamper numbers: 2/AL & 1/AA

Both surfaces are MINT viewed in natural light and bear only a few wispy paper hairlines when viewed directly under a halogen desk lamp.
There are absolutely no scuffs or scratches of any kind on either side.
Very thick, sharp-edged vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.

Audio: NEAR MINT

Hardly - if ever - played, the sound quality is outstanding and the whole disc sounds completely 'as new'
There is absolutely no crackle or groovewear distortion in either channel on any track.
Both run-ins & all bands play extremely quietly and there are no clicks, hiss, jumps or repeats anywhere.

Cover: EXCELLENT

Very clean & strong with just a touch of extremely light storage wear but no major faults.
The front panel retains a vibrant, high-gloss laminate bearing no thumbnails or any other creasing.
There is some bruising to the lower corners and light wear to the uppers but both opening edges are clean, sharp and unworn.
The rear panel is in bright, clean & white with no discolouration, writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks, both seams and the spine are all intact and completely undamaged.
