BLACK & GOLD Parlophone label - PMC 1202

Rare GROOVED labels on BOTH sides.

1st pressing with 'Dick James..' publishing credits on both labels.

Rare 'WOTZ' code on the side 1 label.

Correct 'E.J.Day' mono cover with 'Angus McBean' in the extreme lower right corner.

Complete with original poly-lined 'Use Emitex' inner.

Matrix: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N

Stampers: 1/H & 1/H

Labels

Visual: EXCELLENT
Light centre hole wear but no writing or marking.

Record

Visual: VERY GOOD -
Bright & clean surfaces showing some fingernail scuffs and a 3cm feelable scratch on side 1. There are no other visual faults and no signs of any dishing or warping when being played.

Play: VERY GOOD -
Played many times with some light groovewear but no significant background crackle. There is a single groove jump on 'Boys' and an audible click during the final 2 tracks on side 1. Side 2 plays well without any major audible faults.

Cover

GOOD
This early, correct cover has a fair amount of wear & tear but a bright & clean front with some edgewear but no major damage. The rear shows general wear with some old tape marks but no writing. All flipbacks are present but some repair to the lower. The spine has split and but upper & lower seams are intact.
