1963 UK *1st Press* Mono LP
Black & GOLD Parlophone label - PMC 1202
Correct 'Northern Songs' on side 1 but incorrect 'Dick James' credits on side 2 labels.
'MT' code on side 1 label.
Early & correct 'E. J. Day' mono cover with 'Angus McBean' credit in extreme lower right position.
Complete with lined 'Use Emitex' inner-sleeve.
Matrix: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N
Stampers: 1,2/RM & 1,2/GM

Labels: 1. VERY GOOD 2. VERY GOOD +
Some light scratches to label 1 and minor centre hole wear to label 2, but no writing or 'touch-up' ink has been applied.
Visual: GOOD
Both surfaces show numerous light marks & some small scratches (a few of which are feelable under the fingertips). There is also some minor groove-whitening but no other major visible faults.
Play: GOOD
Clearly played many times, some mild groovewear is audible as light background. However, the only significant fault is a single groove jump on 'Ask Me Why'. Apart from that and an occaisional minor clicks, there are no other major faults.
Cover
VERY GOOD
Clean & glossy front panel with light corner wear (one with a pin-hole) & 2 small nicks to the opening edge wear but no other significant wear or damage. The rear panel is clean with just a few faint age spots but no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are clean & intact & the seams & spine are undamaged.
Strict grading under halogen & strong daylight to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards

Unless stated all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks.
All sleeves have no writing, splits or tears.
