Description
My clearout continues!
I'm now clearing our a batch of classic rock, prog and 60's LPs that I bought in a collection a few years back, a pretty complete collection but I don't really need all the titles. Watch this space for more titles.......
you're bidding for:
Beatles - Please Please Me UK Mono 4th press LP NM/EX+ Black & Gold sleeve 1N/1N
cat: PMC 1202
matrix: XEX 421-1N XEX 422-1N
mothers/stampers: 1 RA 2 GL
The vinyl is stunning, glossy, shiny and bright, only one very faint paper mark visible when held to the light, a beautiful Near Mont copy. Both 4th press labels (No recording first pubished) are EX+ with the lightest of spindle wear, no marks or writing and very close to NM. The MT tax code is visible on side 2. .
The first press Black & Gold sleeve (P of Photo just to the right/beneath the second s of songs) is also really strong, grades as EX+ with all flipbacks intact, lovely clear spine text with 2 sharp corners and glossy laminated front. The 2 corners on the open edge have very small rubs/dings (see pics) and there's 2 or 3 very small blemishes on the open edge. The unlaminated rear is clean and white with only very light mottling or faint discolouration, plus light ring wear. All these small issues mean it's not quite the stunning NM on the vinyl but it's still a fantastic sleeve. The orig Emitex inner is clean and complete. grades as VG+ with creases.
