Description
On offer a very nice first pressing rare black and gold mono. This example has a 4mm ridge on both sides approximately a half inch from centre hole. This is clearly not the usual parlophone press. Maybe a contract issue.
The cover is not mint by any means but is still very presentable with a high gloss on the laminated side. This is the correct E J Day cover and has no serious issues.
Vinyl
Has a number of light stylus marks and scuffs. One stylus mark which runs across one an a half tracks on side 2 is likely feelable but does not affect the stunning playback. Definitely no jumps or skips.
Matrix numbers
Xex 421-1n
Xex 422-1n
Mothers/stampers
The very earliest first press 1ga and 1gp
Playback
Despite the light surface issues the playback is truely amazing from this deep groove vinyl. If your looking for mint, please do not bid on this item. Otherwise a great play.
Please note all items will be professionally and securely packed.
