Description

STOP......THIS IS NOT MINT

Up for sale today is a rare beast indeed. This Beatles lp is the rare 3rd pressing which appeared between the Gold label and the extremely common 4th pressing. This label omits the "published" text below the XEX number. If you're interested in this you're sure to appreciate its rarity.

Cover is clean, free from grafitti etc. Sadly, torn and repaired. G&L flipback, large Mono. Title clear on spine. Very small damage to corners.

Labels are clean, free from grafitti. Some spindle wear. MT tax code on side two.

Mothers/stampers: side 1- 1-OO, side 2- 4-MO

The record jumps at the beginning of I saw her standing there. However, despite a few marks, this is otherwise a cracking copy with a strong sound and minimal between track noise (Noticeable when played loud and on headphones). The jump is a real shame. Without it the records grades a strong VG+. Personally, I don't believe in "mint", this just means its not been played and enjoyed. Listening to it now, I find a good strong sound, with little real evidence of any deterioration(Rega deck/creek amp/Linn speakers). There are a few crackles(run-in side two, very beginning of DYWTKAS). It really is otherwise a nice copy(Jump excepted, of course), retaining a reasonable shine.

So, if you're looking for this for your collection without breaking the bank, this could be for you. Without the jump at the very beginning you have approximately 30minutes of deep joy!

I've listened to this many times with great satisfaction. It was a tough call deciding to sell it. My own copy also jumps. I also own many sleeves in worse condion.

I sell to fund my own passion for Beatles records.
