Beatles RARE John Lennon HAPPY XMAS WHITE VINYL 12" PROMO Record Sleeve Sticker

This LP, which I’ve had more many years, is from my own collection and it’s a RARE ONE, for sure!!!

In this auction:

·       HAPPY XMAS (WAR IS OVER) b/w LISTEN, THE SNOW IS FALLING by John Lennon & Yoko Ono & The Plastic Ono Band

·       This is a 12-inch single with a 3:25 play time on the A-side.

·       It is on WHITE VINYL!

·       THIS RECORD IS A VERY RARE PROMO PRESSING!

·       It has the custom silver “faces” label.

·       ONLY 2500 COPIES OF THE RECORD WERE PRODUCED!!!

·       It was issued in a clear plastic cover with “hype sticker”.

·       This record has “PROMOTIONAL COPY/NOT FOR SALE” printed on the labels and “CAPITOL RECORDS PROMOTION” is printed at the bottom of the gray sticker on the clear plastic cover.

·       The sticker indicates that the record is a “SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION OF 2500”.  

·       IT WAS NOT SOLD IN STORES!!!

·       This is Capitol Records SPRO – 9929.

·       This record was released in December of 1986.

·       The WHITE VINYL is NEAR MINT. I do not see any signs of surface reaction to the plastic cover it was in I assume because the vinyl was put in a paper sleeve early in its life.

·       The CLEAR PLASTIC COVER is in NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION with just some slight signs of aging and normal bends that come with a plastic cover. There is some light ring wear on the gray sticker.

Now, how cool is it to be the owner of a John Lennon Record where ONLY 2500 were produced!!!
