RARE **FIRST PRESSING**, DOCUMENTED AS A **LOUD CUT**, LOVELY VINYL, COMPLETE EXAMPLE
Description/Condition:
ORIGINAL 1965 FIRST PRESSING for The Beatles MONO Vinyl LP ‘RUBBER SOUL’.
This FIRST PRESSING variant is documented as the LOUD CUT. The album is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with The Gramophone Co Ltd label rim, with Sold in UK… and Made in Gt Britain label text.
The record labels are in very nice excellent condition – A CLEAN, UNDAMAGED set of record labels with no more than just a few light centre spider trails.
The FIRST PRESSING side 1 matrix is XEX 579-1and Side 2: XEX 580-1.
Side 1 stampers: 5/AT and Side 2: 3/AL.
Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in IMPRESSIVE excellent plus condition, very BRIGHT, GLOSSY vinyl showing nothing more than a few surface hairlines.
Audio Quality:
The album plays EXTREMELY WELL through ALL the tracks with NO skips or clicks.
The album comes in an ORIGINAL Lined ‘Use Emitex’ Inner Bag, which is in excellent condition, NO seam splits or handwriting, showing some inevitable age tanning.
And is housed in its ORIGINAL First Issue Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve, with three flipbacks to the reverse.
The sleeve is in very good plus condition, GLOSSY front panel, showing some mild record indentation, mild corner bruising and a ¼" split to the bottom right hand corner. The spine edge clearly reads ‘Rubber Soul The Beatles’. The reverse panel of the sleeve shows some mild age discoloration, previous owners name neatly written in green ink top left hand side, and a small area of paper loss to the middle of the top where a sticker has been removed just below the flipback.
A CLEAN, VERY RESPECTABLE and COMPLETE example of this RARE Original UK FIRST ISSUE MONO LP.
