AND I LOVE HER / IF I FELL Scarce 1969 Target Label with Dome Logo
If you're reading this, you already know, but I'll state it anyway...This label variation was of course only pressed for a few months before Beatles reissue singles were switched over to the Target label with the round Capitol Logo...all of the Beatles 45s previous to 1969 were slated to be reissued with this label type, but only 14 titles (out of 20-something) were actually pressed, and then, only in very small numbers.
And remember, All Beatles reissue singles sold extremely well throughout the 60's, so the distribution pipeline was still very full of previous 'Swirl label' issues when Capitol made this label change. It made sense that they would only press more after the, then current supply, sold down. The decision was made to modernize the company logo before all but a few of these were pressed, thus making all 14 titles with this label quite scarce.
The offered here comes with a Nr Mint original company sleeve that is appropriate for this label variation, the labels look Close to new (very light writing on label as seen in photo, looks like pencil-may be removeable), and the vinyl is very shiny, easily grades VG+ or better
