>> Collectors refer to this example here as Version 3, because:
a) the photos, both front and back cover, are NOT raised (not embossed);
b) George Martin's name DOES appear as producer on the back cover; and
c) In the blurb below the title Helter Skelter on the back cover, the last phrase reads "...so you don't hear the classic statement 'I've got blisters on my fingers.'" (previous releases had mis-quoted John Lennon as shouting out the "blisters" line, when in fact it was Ringo; the mystery remains as to why Capitol, since it was busy correcting this third version to set everything right, didn't credit Ringo?! -- they knew by then, so....?)

The break you see in the shrink wrap was done at the factory so that an embossed promotional stamp could be placed there (see image 3). The cover area thus exposed is undamaged in any way, either front or back.
The previous owner was a radio DJ and kept his own stash as records came in to the station, and properly stored them, upright!
