Beatles Revolver MONO Italy RAREST of them all "GOTT" first day pressing 1966

THIS IS NOT A REISSUE !  I say that as they are knocking off this style label now with Rock Band on colored vinyl.  This is the real 1966 deal ! I had to downgrade the sound,because of five VERY MINOR clicks,on Taxman ,right at intro. Have to mention,as this record is going to sell for quite a bit of money. I've already had offers. Going to play out the auction . First off,this is an entirely different mix,EQ than your used to hearing. This is an extremely rare Italian record. I'm in the USA ,NOT Italy ! LABELS ARE TO DIE FOR on original "BIEM" PARLOPHON ( no E ) .  Not only are first Italian pressings hard to find,in playable condition,but this one is one of the first days pressing. " Got To Get You Into My Life " is incorrectly spelled " Got"t" To Get You Into My Life" The extra "T" on the word GOT. This was a major mistake,caught right away,hence this is a true first day pressing ! Pictures are out of sequence. Look at last picture. I shot that picture of the page in the book " the Italian Sides of the Beatles "  It makes mention of the mis-spelling and shows the second pressing with the corrected title. This is the first one,the rarest one !
As a reference guide I use my friends ( Stefano Cipriani ) book " The Italian Sides Of The Beatles "  A book well worth owning if your a serious collector . This is a mono pressing. It is different than the UK,in that the mixes are different than the English. Hard to explain,but the instruments and vocals have less echo ( generally speaking ) than ANY other country,I've heard ,and I've heard quite a few.  "Revolver" catalog number PMCQ 31510. Deadwax has matrices and date,nothing more . This reads for side one XEX 605-T1- 25-8-66 meaning August 25,1966 . Side two XEX 606-T1- 25-8-66 ... Notice same matrix as UK,but no mother code ,nor stamper codes . The reason being,back in the sixties ,not that many Italians spoke fluent English. Therefore,they pressed very few albums,opposed to English speaking countries. This album,like all the Italian Beatles albums I have ,sound different and in many/all people's opinion better than other countries. This means,there were not an unlimited number of mothers and stampers. This  album would be like a 1 mother and a G or R stamper. They didn't press a lot of these IN THE PERIOD of the 1960,s that's why they are desirable to collectors and audiophiles . Condition. I'm going to preface this by saying what all sellers should,but never do. The pictures you see can make just about any vinyl record look NM. Reality is usually quite different . As we are on a global scale,I'm going to grade numerically 1-10 ... The U.K. Grade much different than Gildmine in the USA . 1. Labels. 8/10 I'm not hiding in the pictures. There is slight wear,around spindle holes,not bad,but it's there.  2. Vinyl 7/10 hairlines,scuffs,but apparently some unfeelable scratch that causes six very light clicks on "Taxman" intro. Its odd,as the run in wax is dead quiet,it is on the first few seconds of song. It does NOT overwhelm in any way. "Got to get you into my life" has a different fade out , longer than other countries . "Tomorrow Never Knows" also quite a bit different than UK. I don't have a clue how the Italians at EMI could have come up with such a different sounding recording. I'm also assuming,anyone reading this is more than a casual record enthusiast . 3. Sound 8/10 No skips,crackle etc. BUT ! I just played album again,on a high end system. There are five very light clicks on Taxman intro. Although vinyl has marks ,nothing you can feel. I looked closely,to see if there was anything I could see. Just the surface marks. Still the BEST SOUNDING "Revolver" imaginable. I sold one of these last month,that did not have the rarer label,but was in better condition. ( EX ) Not that much better,but didn't have any sonic problems. I.e. Clicks,regardless of how consequential. It kills me to downgrade this record,but I had to mention it. Goldmine would still have this at VG+. I don't know if a good clean would make a difference,but as I could feel nothing,I doubt it.  4. Cover 6/10 has a seam split about two inches on seam opposite record entry. The rest you can see in the pictures. I'm on the side of caution here. Most would say 8/10 even with seam split. That's just wrong and misleading. Like people that put up pictures,that show next to nothing and / or are not willing to show all 12 pictures allotted . They also don't mention how deceiving pictures can be. I could have posted 12 pictures of this record and cherry pick and it would look like new . It's 50 years old and has been played ,but the quality is so good,it still blows away the UK first pressing,and I'm not saying that without playing both. A/B testing and everyone agrees,without knowing which pressing is which,this one,even with its quirks sounds much better and much more " real "  The last few pictures are of a first pressing " Beatles For Sale " I am listing now as well. That's a different auction,just wanted to be certain people are aware of both albums. This auction is only for the first Italian pressing of Revolver. Shipping.
