1966 UK *1st MONO PRESS* LP
INCLUDES THE RARE 'REMIX 11' VERSION OF 'TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS'
On the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims
A significant ridge is present and runs 1cm inside the perimeter of each label.
The side 2 label bears the 'Dr Robert' spelling and a 'KT' tax/price code embossed around the centre hole.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
Some light spindle marks but no major faults or wear.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both surfaces are in top-class condition and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines with no clouding or dul patches anywhere. Careful inspection in strong daylight reveals just two very light 1cm surface marks on side 1 but no other marks or any scratches anywhere. Close examination directly beneath halogen light show nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shine and a few wispy inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warpiing. Hard to find a cleaner copy.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This copy has received just some extremely careful play on good quality equipment and I am pleased to report that all tracks are completely unworn & play perfectly. A clear and crisp 'Taxman' explodes from a silent side 1 run-in and even the delicate and easily damaged 'Eleanor Rigby' & 'Here The & Everywhere' play without any of the background crackle or groovewear usually assosciated with these track on this pressing. The two inner tracks on side one are impressive and totally unworn. The only significant fault I could find on the entire LP were 4 light ticks on the introduction to 'Good Day Sunshine'. Apart from that, there is little to fault overall and it would grade NM. Tough to upgrade this one.

EXCELLENT +
A spotless white front panel with just two light spine bends but absolutely no other significant signs of wear to the immaculate high-gloss laminate. All corners are clean & sharp and both opening edges are unworn and undamaged. The rear panel is clean and black where it should be with just a few very light storagewear marks but certainly no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are 100% intact and undamaged, as are both seams and the perfectly worded spine.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD +
Some general storagewear but no seam splits, tears or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks. All sleeves/covers have no writing, splits or tears.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
