1965 UK PARLOPHONE *MONO* LP
**NEAR MINT**
This oustanding NEAR MINT 1965 '2nd' mono pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1267
The labels carry the 'Sold in UK..'text and 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in a rarer front laminated, tri-flipback 'E.J. Day' mono cover.
Complete with its original lined 'Use Emitex' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 579-5 & XEX 580-5
Stamper numbers: 2/ML & 3/MA
Labels: MINT
No spindle marks to either label.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces are MINT viewed in natural light and bear only a few wispy paper hairlines directly under a halogen desk lamp.
There are absolutely no surface marks or scratches of any kind.
Extremely thick, heavy vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Possibly unplayed and sounds completely 'as new' with no traces of audible wear anywhere.
Throughout there is no crackle or groovewear distortion on any track in either channel - even the easily damaged 'Michelle' is clear and unworn.
Both run-ins and all bands play silently without any ticks, hiss or other intereference.
An oustanding copy of the final & most refined mono cut of this LP which will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Very clean & strong example with an un-scratched, high-gloss laminate bearing just a few spine wrinkles but no heavy creasing or wear.
There is minor bruising to three corners but both opening edges are in perfect, unworn condition.
The rear panel is pristine bright white with no discolouration, marks, writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks are intact and undamaged, and all seams and the spine are strong and unsplit.
