Beatles 'Rubber Soul'- 1966 STEREO pressing. Lovely audio and record!
Laminated Flipback Garrod & Lofthouse Stereo Sleeve
Yellow / Black Labels with 'THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD' around the rim and 'Sold in the UK' text.

CONDITION-
SLEEVE: VG
front- Charismatic first generation Stereo cover. Very clean which has been well looked after with no fading and a lovely readable spine with only minor superficial scuffing. A few opening marks are also present but overall very presentable.
back- Back cover is clean, unfaded or stained and still retains a fresh white hue with minor browning close to the opening edges. Still, a clean and well kept copy. See pics.
VINYL: VG+
Beautiful jet black shine. At first sight side one looks unplayed and would rate a strong excellent! On close inspection just 2 very minor needle marks can be made out. Side two has graded a little lower with another minor needle mark and a superficial needle scuff on the first two and a half tracks which do not sound during the songs themselves. See audio section below.
Under strong lamp light this record shows almost no sleeve removal marks to side one and the very bare minimum of these to side 2. There are absolutely no feelable scratches.
Overall, a very clean and bright record that has been carefully and sparsely played by its owner
LABELS: EX
This record has no names or stains and the spindle whole is almost completely free of whitening. The stylish 1960's Parlophone stereo labels are bold, clean and the silver font clear. Spindle marks in a certain light show that this record has been lightly and carefully played.
AUDIO- EX
The lovely depth of well kept 1960's stereo records on thick quality vinyl throughout.
Side one is beautifully clear and free from crackle in between tracks and on quieter numbers 'Norwegian Wood' and 'Michelle', just beautifully warm acoustic guitar and George's delicate lead. No distortion on louder tracks 'Drive My Car' and 'The Word', just that funky baseline those brilliant harmonies.
Side two is similar. All parts clear, separated and undistorted on Ringo's 'What Goes On' really bringing out George's lead guitar backing. The very lightest crackle between the 2nd and 3rd tracks but none that run into any of the quieter tracks such as 'Girl', guitar start to 'I'm Looking Through You' and John's 'In My Life' which are punchy and melancholic. All parts warm, rich and clear.
Overall- no distortion throughout and absolutely no pops, clicks, sticks or jumps. The very bare minimum of crackle between a few tracks which do not detract from the album. The Beatles in their prime and a joy to hear.

When sending- the record and inner sleeves will be separated from their outer sleeves and placed in poly sleeves. The record and poly sleeve will also be placed in a thick master sleeve to ensure the best protection possible.
This will then be carefully mailed to you with cardboard stiffners to add increased protection to the package.
