The Beatles - Rubber Soul - Sought after UK 1st press loud cut matrix.
First so-called 'loud cut' version of Rubber Soul: "Shortly into the production run, EMI decided that Moss had cut the album too loud and ceased production. After Moss re-cut mono lacquers on November 19, new metal parts were made, and Hayes resumed pressing the album. The albums pressed with stampers generated from the initial lacquers were not destroyed and can be identified by the "-1" following the XEX 579 (Side 1) and XEX 580 (Side 2) matrix numbers..." Complete with original Use Emitex inner sleeve. Record in VG+ condition, Outer Jacket in VG condition, is only really let down by jacket opening that is a little rough and jagged on the back. Spine completely in tact and legible. You be the judge. Pictures form part of the description. Pictures used are if actual item you will receive.

Record is flat and not warped. Recently play tested on a Pioneer SPL-100 turntable with an Audio Technica AT-95e cartridge/ stylus through a Yamaha natural sound amp with Wharfedale speakers and at high volume and it sounds great. No skips.
Comes with clear plastic outer sleeve, and poly inner sleeve and will ship the record out of the record jacket for safer transportation and bubble wrap everything before putting it in a cardboard record mailer. I've cleaned the record on my spin clean record cleaner prior to play testing.

***Update***
Play tested again 14/09/21 at 8:30pm at high volume.
Some light crackle in run in and run out areas and some very slight surface noise between songs. No pops anywhere. When songs are playing it sounds absolutely fantastic. No crackle or pops whatsoever. A very enjoyable listening experience. If play graded only I'd play grade E condition.
That said, visually I'd grade the record less as it has obvious hairlines and marks on both sides. As with most of these early UK Beatles pressings this does not seem to affect how the record sounds in any way apart from what I've mentioned above.
