Description

Hands down...the best cut for audio from a 60's mono...the 5/5. HEAVY PRESSING -160 grams.
And just passing the 60th anniversary of RS - great to see it in such good shape and such fine fettle.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) Superb condition and has only seen light use. A couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of slight deviations. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Nice detailed sound. The loud cut wasn't so great. The 4/4 an improvement. It wasn't until the 5/5 that they nailed it. Well balanced & great clarity. And anyone who has one....can tell you...this is the real deal. Hardly any background at all. Acoustic numbers like Norwegian Wood -- are just fantastically well delivered with clean background. Michelle -- a track which few RS's actually play without issues -- is sounding clear solid and clean... A couple of isolated ticks in one spot per side..... Overall -- VERY appealing.
Cover (Vg+) Nice surfaces, with some creases on the front... The spine is 90% intact ...the rear shows light ageing and a couple of blemishes......a small price to pay.. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Emitex (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
