Description

Here's a rare Taiwan issue of the Beatles "Rubber Soul" album. This pressing has the original 14 song tracklist, as originally issued in Europe. The runout grooves have British style numbers (YEX-178, YEX-179) so it is possible this was made off some European masters. It is in stereo. The vinyl grades VG+ on side one and strong VG on side 2 due to some light scuff marks. One label has a name written on it. Fidelity is decent, far better than some of these Taiwan pressings that are just flatout lousy. I noticed some surface noise on track A2. As I understand it, these pressings were mainly sold to US military stationed overseas in the 60s and 70s.
