CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT

Bright & undamaged with a small number of tiny spindle trails around each centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Immaculately clean & deep-gloss playing surfaces which are totally free from any surface marks or wear in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals only some harmless wispy hairlines from inner-sleeve removal but again no scuffs, marks or scratches of any kind. Both sides of this extremely well-looked after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: EXCELLENT +

A warm, clear and dry sound from this superior -4 cut which has only ever received scant attention from top-quality equipment. My careful playcheck at volume revealed no traces of any groove or play wear on any track or channel and even the easily worn 'Michelle' played without the usual background noise or break-up. There are also no clicks, pops or ticks on or between any of there wonderful tracks.

Cover

EXCELLENT

A super clean & strong example from heavy card stock with a rich, clean & high-gloss front panel bearing only two faint 'thumbnails' but not a single spine bend. There is light bruising to the right corners but no bumps or splitting to any. Both opening edges are clean & unworn with no tears or feathering to either side. The rear panel is extremely clean with no marks or blemishes to any part. It too would have been EX+ if it were not for a 1.5cm split to the laminate on the upper seam. The lower seam and the spine are both smooth & undamaged.

Inner-sleeve

VERY GOOD +

Crisp & flat with a little storage wrinkling but no writing, splits or tears.
