THE BEATLES - 'RUBBER SOUL'
This flawless sounding UK MONO pressing dates from early 1966 and is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1267
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK....' text & 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 579-4 & XEX 580-4
Stamper codes: 4,8/GOA & 4/GRO
Vinyl weight: 155g
Housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed mono cover.Complete with its original 'Patents Applied For' plain white inner-sleeve.

A superb clean & unworn pair with a small handful of light, well-aimed spindle trails around each unworn centre hole indicating a few careful plays only.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight. Even close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp fails to reveal anything more than a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines any a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This outstanding copy has received just a handful of careful plays on excellent equipment and there is no trace of any groove/playwear distortion on any track - even on the easily and frequently worn areas such as 'Michelle'. The entire album is totally free from any clicks, pops, ticks or any other audible distraction or any kind and will not disappoint with its depth, warmth and clarity of sound.
Cover: EXCELLENT
An extremely firm & unworn example which retains a perfectly clean & unscratched high-gloss front panel laminate, where the only traces of wear are a handful of light 'thumbnails' towards the opening edge & three tiny spine wrinkles. There is a small bruise to the upper left corner but all others are sharp and unworn, as are both opening edges. The exposed rear panel is clean, white & unblemished with no writing or missing paper anywhere. There is a little discolouration to the exposed edges of the flipbacks and the right corner of the upper flipback has been tucked under the spine flipback, presumably at the factory.
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is clean, fully worded and totally unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with some minor age-toning to the paper but no writing, seam splits or tears.
