1st UK pressing of this Beatles classic
FINAL UPGRADE!
1965 original release
Yellow/Black Parlophone label format in mega rare stereo ! labels are in NEAR MINT – condition . Hardly played indicator, the heart of the vinyl and what a phenomenal exhibit this is ! Sold in UK text with Gramophone Co. credits on outer rim of label , confirming the very first UK stereo pressing! Make no mistake, this is a highly sought after release as mono records were quite common in the early sixties but very few stereo albums were released so to locate a Beatles classic in stereo is a monumental find especially in this near mint- condition!
Labels
Yellow/black Parlophone with sold in UK/Gramophone Co. text in upper case around perimeter, confirming the first issue of the rare stereo release. Label side 1 Nr Mint Side 2 label –Ex with a light spindle trace only !!! No damage to report.
Inner sleeve
Original tissue lined Emitex liner in EX+ condition.
Sleeve
Rare first issue, single, G&L ,Patents Pending album sleeve in excellent condition ! The reverse face is normally found soiled with massive ring wear/surface damage! This sleeve is the best ever viewed with a superb stunning ultra clean visibility. Super smooth lamination on outer face with minimal creasing observed. Running a fingertip along the spinal edge, hardly any laminate splits with title clearly visible. Title clearly shown and a monster of an exhibit ! Flip backs on rear are virtually perfect and there is minimal feathering to opening edge. Reverse has a four letter name in pencil which can easily be erased.Light corner scuffs, one mm. laminate peel top edge with some light creasing in front lamination and that is all!

Thick quality pressing . Mirror like surfaces similar to mint vinyl. Virtually UNMARKED! When held against a strong halogen, one or two extremely light surface/hairlines ONLY, caused by sleeve removal but difficult to pick up beneath the glass like surfaces..

Phenomenal discovery to locate any Beatles’ record in this stunning condition but to find a hard to find stereo release HARDLY PLAYED is quite unbelievable !
Audio
Sensational as all frequencies are delivered sharp and ULTRA clear. The stereophonic perspective is magnificent and offers the listener an extensive range of dynamic sound. The test piece for this audio is Michelle which is delivered through near silent grooves. The delivery is quite phenomenal to say the least as each track is heard at its very best. Minimal surface disturbance, even between tracks on side 1 , producing a faultless aural reception. Side 2 is ex+ with the stylus hitting a couple of dust pockets which produce a hint of distant static momentarily. All in all quite sensational!
Have had to place a reserve on this as this stereo Beatles’ classic is super rare and must be one of the very best example in existence today. True investment quality .
