*** BID WITH CONFIDENCE: As a long-time Beatles collector, I've had my share of mail-order disappointments with items that were not as described. I grade conservatively and striveto present accurate descriptions and detailed photos, along with noting any visible flaws.. But please contact me if you have any questions at all about this item. ***
Sealed copies of both volumes of the 1980 US Capitol reissues on the green Capitol budget line label.
They’re just as I bought them years ago - a few cover issues, because the original owner hadn’t handled them carefully enough. But they’ve been tucked away inside protectivesleeves since then.
The shrink is intact on both covers, except for the very tips of the corners - so there is a tiny area of wear on the upper and lower left corner tips of both covers.Note in the pics that both covers have some corner bends/creases, more apparent on Vol. 1 than Vol. 2.
Vol. 2 - From the front cover view, there’s a slight bend in the upper right area, more visible as a bend/crease when looking at the back cover.
These are all isolated to just the corners - the cover area housing the disc looks nice and flat, with no sign of warping.
The close-up pics probably make the flaws a little more evident than they are, but I’d rather exaggerate them a little than minimize them.
Not perfect copies, but sealed and nice enough that I kept them in my collection for years.**********************************
Free domestic shipping via USPS Media Mail. Sorry, but for now I only ship within the lower 48 states. I strive to ship each item out the next business day after receiving payment -so far I haven’t missed one yet.
I package each item carefully and securely, just the way I’d want to receive it. For LPs and 45s - standard cardboard mailers and inserts for LPs & 45s, with non-sealed LPs/45ssafely packaged outside of the cover/picture sleeve to protect against seam splitting in transit. For non-vinyl pieces - always in a sturdy cardboard box, packed tight enough to keep the item from bouncing around inside thebox during transit.
Any other questions... just ask. Thanks for looking, and please stay safe out there - Rick in TX
