THE BEATLES: SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND – AN ORIGINAL 1967 UK FIRST ISSUE BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE **STEREO** VINYL LP - PCS 7027
GORGEOUS DEEP RICH COLOURED SLEEVE, SUPERB NEAR MINT VINYL, WITH ORIGINAL FAME INNER BAG AND UNUSED CUT-OUT
This is a VERY IMPRESSIVE example of The Beatles ICONIC Album 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' released by Parlophone UK in 1967.
The FIRST ISSUE album is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with Gramophone Co Ltd label rim With Sold in the UK…. and With Made in Gt. Britain label text.
The Vinyl Disc comes in its ORIGINAL Flame Pink and White inner bag together with an ORIGINAL and UNUSED Sgt Pepper Cut-Out. The album is protected in its ORIGINAL First Issue Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Internal Flip back GATEFOLD Sleeve.
The official Side 1 Matrix: YEX 637-1/ Side 2 Matrix: YEX 638-1.
Side 1 stampers are 2/GM. Side 2 stampers: 1/GH.
The embossed 'KT' tax code is visible to the side 2 record label.
Both sides of the Record Labels are EXCEPTIONAL and in near mint condition - the labels are simply GORGEOUS, with just the faintest signs of any spider trails, which you have to look very closely and carefully to detect. Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in near mint condition - the Vinyl is extremely CLEAN and BRIGHT, with only a few light surface hairlines, and it is hard to believe that this album is nearing 40 years old! The Original First Issue LAMINATED Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold sleeve is in STRONG excellent condition. It is EXCEPTIONALLY GLOSSY, FLAT, and with the DEEPEST, RICHEST COLOURS. There is only the faintest record indentation, and mild corner bruising to the two bottom corners. The inside of the Gatefold is in GREAT, undamaged condition as is the reverse panel. The spine edge is Undamaged and the wording 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' is clear and legible. The Original Sgt Pepper Cut-Out is near mint UNUSED condition. The Original Flame Coloured Inner Bag too is in excellent condition, with minimal light creasing. The bottom edge of the bag has been very neatly secured with clear tape to avoid any further seam splitting .
The Playing quality matches that of the Visual Grading. Both sides play SUPERBLY throughout, with NO skipping or jumping.
BEATLES albums in this Genuinely IMPRESSIVE condition are becoming increasingly difficult to find now. A VERY NICE Example of this ICONIC Beatles album!!
