Description

Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
THE BEATLES

Beautiful rare late 60s black label pressing of this classic Beatles LP (Capitol SMAS 2653). Gorgeous near mint gatefold cover, still in its original shrinkwrap. This is the rare black with rainbow colorband "subsidiary" print label available for only a short time in the late 60s. Shiny strong VG++ vinyl. Comes with near mint original insert. Original $3.72 (yikes!) price sticker also on shrink. Enjoy!

I have had bidders ask why I start all my record auctions at $5.00 with no reserve, even with extremely rare and valuable records. I believe that auctions should be true auctions, with the high bidder always winning the item. Secret reserves make no sense and frustrate buyers, so I don’t use them. And I believe that buyers will understand the value of the records I sell and will bid accordingly. I have sold sealed Beatles butcher LPs and original near mint Elvis Presley Sun 45s this way .... $5.00 opening bid and no reserve!

The winning bidder adds $3.00 media mail shipping in the U.S., plus optional insurance. More for outside the U.S. or for priority mail. I accept money orders, credit cards including Visa and Mastercard through BidPay and PayPal, and checks, with time to clear the bank. I accept bids from and will ship to anywhere in the world. Check out all our other auctions (combine and save on postage!) and Good Luck :-)
