There's a multitude of reasons why this album is important. It was the last time the fab four truly worked together as a team, and established the record LP as an art form. Ringo Starr evenremarked, "Sgt. Pepper was our grandest endeavor.
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” is a psychedelic and surreal song by The Beatles, primarily written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
The song’s dreamlike lyrics describe a fantastical, kaleidoscopic journey through a landscape filled with vivid and imaginative imagery. The title character, Lucy, is often associated with the acronym “LSD,” but the song’s creators insisted that it was inspired by a drawing made by Lennon’s son, Julian.
Perfect addition to any record collection.
