Up for auction is my most prized possession! Here's a STEREO version of the Beatles' paste-over BUTCHER album. I have owned this album since the late 70's. I have had this stored away along with my other 700 Beatles and Beatles related lps for many, many years. This lp lists for nearly $2000 in this condition! As you can see, the whites are very bright. You can clearly see Ringo AND John's butcher smock, sweater, head and knee. This is the nicest paste-over I have ever seen. This is the Scranton version with a #2 on the back. This means the "trunk" cover was pasted on with a water-based glue and should be an easy peel. I would recomend NOT peeling it since STEREO paste-overs are getting harder and harder to find. The seams are perfectly intact except for 2 small 1/2" tears at the mouth on the top & bottom seam. There is a small 1/8" tear on the paste-over slick above the word "stereo." The inner sleeve and record are near MINT! The record appears to be unplayed!! This is the Holy Grail of all vinyl records- especially in the rarer STEREO version. Don't miss the chance to own this gem. I hate to sell it but.... You may never see another one in THIS condition again without paying thousands of dollars! Please give my baby a good home!
