Beatles Second Album Capitol Subsidiary LP ST 2080 M-

Rare 1968-69 pressing "The Beatles Second Album" US LP (Capitol ST 2080) with black and rainbow band colored labels with "subsidiary"  rim printing in virtually unused condition (disc and jacket).
From 1968-69, Capitol Records, due to corporate reshuffling, added "subsidiary" text information to the printing at the bottom rims of the disc labels. These labels were only used for less than a year before they were replaced with new lime green labels. These "subsidiary" labels are considered rare and collectible.

Grading: 
Disc labels: (Side 1: Mint minus/Side 2: Mint minus):  The labels look new.  NO writing and NO marks.
Disc: (Side 1: Mint minus/Side 2: Mint minus):  The disc looks virtually unplayed. NO marks.
Sleeve: (Near mint plus): Looks virtually brand new. Front, back edges are immaculate. Perfect corners! Almost flawless with the exception of a couple of barely visible tiny light scratches on the top right hand corner.
The original off-white inner sleeve is also included.  It is in near mint minus condition.

Grading: We are conservative graders and try to be as concise and as accurate as possible without a lot of the standard hype.  We will never explain the condition of an item by saying it "looks good for something this old" as we consider that patronizing and an insult to potential buyers. Please ask us questions about any details about the item before bidding.

Shipping:
Packaging: All items are professionally packaged with high quality unused materials for shipment. No items will ever be loose in their shipping cartons. Records that are not sealed in their original shrink-wrap will never be shipped in their original jackets. All vinyl will be in poly-lined sleeves and outside of their original jackets so that no seam splitting can result from the shipping process.

Shipping charges for vinyl discs, posters and memorabilia include the cost of postage and boxes with extra padding. Good packaging is not cost effective but we insist upon safe and secure packaging. We do not want you to receive damaged items!
