I am selling some BEATLES and BEATLES-RELATED LPs from my collection. So, please check my other auctions for something that may appeal to you.

IN THIS AUCTION: 

·       “THE BEATLES SECOND ALBUM” by the Beatles  

·       This LP is Capitol Records ST 2080.

·       This is a STEREO Pressing.

·       It was issued April 10, 1964.

·       This is considered to be the EARLIEST FIRST STEREO PRESSING OF THIS LP for the following reasons:

1)  Check the label and you will see that there are NO RUNNING TIMES PRINTED FOR “I Call Your Name” and “Long Tall Sally”

2)  The group’s name on the front cover is brownish red.

3)  The RUNNING TIME FOR “You Can’t Do That” IS PRINTED AS “2.23”, BUT THE CORRECT RUNNING TIME IS 2:33 (which was quickly corrected for continued pressings).

·       This LP is in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. The Shrink Wrap does not have “breathe holes”.

·       According to Perry Cox, this LP was issued from Capitol Records’ Jacksonville pressing plant based on the number “9” printed on the rear cover at lower right; however the LP cover only mentions Factories in Scranton and Los Angeles. And the vinyl has a triangle with IAM inside of it which indicates it is from Capitol’s Scranton Pressing Plant.

·       The COVER is in VG+ Condition. It is in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. Store sticker is at top left on the shrink. Only some wear on the top 2 corners (where the shrink wrap is torn and exposed the corners to some wear) kept me from grading the cover Near Mint. There are a few small tears in the shrink wrap at the bottom center of the front cover and on the reverse in the same place. There is also a small corner push on the top right corner and a small corner bend on the bottom right corner.

·       The VINYL is VG+ with some light surface hairlines/scuffs.  

·       The correct Capitol inner paper sleeve is also included.

·       A NICE BEATLES LP to add to your vinyl collection.
