Condition
Labels: NEAR MINT
A beautiful, unblemished set with just two or three of the very faintest of spindle trails.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both surfaces are pristine and totally unmarked in strong daylight. There are no scuffs marks or scratches anywhere to be seen. Close & careful inspection directly beneath halogen light reveals just some wispy inner-sleeve removal marks/hairlines but both sides lies 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping. A first-class copy of this classic album which has been well-looked after and would be tough to upgrade.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This wonderful sounding copy has received just a few extremely careful plays on top-quality equipment. Happily the sound throughout is clean and clear on all tracks with no traces of any background noise or groovewear distortion. Even 'She's Leaving Home' plays perfectly without the usual playwear or breakup. Apart from a touch of normal/light background on the opening crowd-noises and two light ticks on 'Within, Without You' I could detect no other significant or any major audible faults on this impressive copy.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A vivid & vibrant example which retains is high-gloss laminate all-round with just a single 'thumbnail' crease on the front panel but no other significant signs of wear. There corners are in excellent shape with just some light shelfwear to the lower two but no heavy bumps. All the edges are clean and undamaged with no tears or feathering. The rear panel has a speck of missing laminate towards the lower left corner & a few light indentation lines, but no other faults. The inside is immaculate and has probably never been fully opened. All seams are strong, unstressed and most importantly, the spine is clean, square and unsquashed. It is fully laminated and displays a clear and totally undamaged text.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Crisp, clean & flat with no tears, splits or missing paper.
Cut-out sheet: MINT
