1967 UK *MONO* 1st PRESSING
**GENUINE FACTORY SAMPLE**
This rare 100% genuine 1967 *FACTORY SAMPLE* 1st mono pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7027
Both labels show the 'Sold in UK..' texts and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims.
This rare copy carries a genuine 1967 'Factory Sample' sticker on the side 2 label.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in a fully laminated, internal flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' mono gatefold cover.
Complete with red & white inner sleeve and unused 'cut-outs'.
Matrix numbers: XEX 637-1 & XEX 638-1

Visual: EXCELLENT
Pristine, clean & deep gloss surfaces bearing just a few very small light surface marks and wispy paper hairlines visible directly under a halogen desk lamp.
There are no heavy marks or deep scratches and the quality sharp edged vinyl lies 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
Carefully played just a few times on top quality equipment, the sound on all tracks is warm & clear with no trace of groovewear or crackle.
There are a few faint 'ticks' at the beginning of 'She's Leaving Home' but none of the usual groovewear distortion here.
Otherwise, this is a near perfect sounding copy with even a silent fade-out on 'Day In The Life'.

Superb example with a bright & vibrant front image bearing a fine high-gloss laminate displaying no thumbnails or creases.
The corners are all clean and square and all the opening edges are clean, razor sharp and unworn.
The rear panel is again bright, glossy and without any creasing.
The inside gatefold is prisitne and appears 'as new'.
All seams are strong, unstressed and unsplit and the spine is clean and readable with no missing laminate.
