I am pleased to offer for sale this exceptional example of the Beatles eighth studio album: Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

The matrix numbers confirm that the record is a UK first pressing.
The labels are the first variant with the yellow Parlophone logo and silver text.
The vinyl is housed within the fully-laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve which features a very desirable WIDE SPINE. Unlike many examples of this sleeve variant, the wide spine is found in fantastic condition without any creasing.
The album comes complete with the original red and white wavy psychedelic inner sleeve designed by The Fool art collective and the cut-out insert sheet designed by Peter Blake.

Vinyl: EXCELLENT
Labels: EXCELLENT +
The labels are bright, clean and without writing. Only very light spindle marks can be seen to both sides.
Visual: EXCELLENT
The record displays superb deep-gloss playing surfaces. In bright daylight only a couple of very light paper scuffs can be seen to the surface of either side. Underneath the glare of a halogen desk lamp a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines can be seen alongside an iridescent rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD +

As can be heard from the recordings, the audio is fantastic. All tracks play through with great clarity and distinction. There is light static during the lead-ins and in-between tracks but which, on the whole, doesn't bleed into the tracks. As is often the case, the final few turns of side 2 are a little noisier. She's leaving home is extremely quiet. A very nice listen indeed!
Sleeve: EXCELLENT -
The iconic sleeve looks superb! The wide spine really makes the sleeve stand out. All four sides retain the original lustre and bright colours. The top and bottom edges are without wear. The opening edge is without wear. The corners are strong with just mild softening. A really first-rate example.
Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT
The original inner sleeve is in great condition. The colours are bright and there is minimal discolouration to the white section. The cut-out insert is in perfect condition.
Additional Details:
Before the audio test, the vinyl was cleaned first by an Okki Nokki vacuum cleaner (using L'art du Son cleaning solution) and then an Audio Desk ultrasonic cleaner.
After cleaning, the vinyl is housed inside a brand new mobile fidelity anti-static inner sleeve.
The vinyl will be packaged outside of the sleeve, both of which are stored inside an archival quality polypropylene outer sleeve.
The record will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
