The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
This exceptional 'final upgrade' example of the Beatles eighth studio album is a MONO UK 1st pressing on the much sought after yellow and black Parlophone label.
The vinyl is housed within the fully-laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve which features a very desirable WIDE SPINE. Unlike many examples of this sleeve variant, the wide spine is found in fantastic condition.

The matrix numbers identify the vinyl as a true UK first pressing.
The labels are the first variant with yellow Parlophone logo and silver text.
Much debate surrounds the different sleeve variants. As mentioned above, this copy has the very desirable wide spine but does not have 'patents pending' text the the bottom right-hand-corner of the reverse.
The album comes complete with the original red and white wavy psychedelic inner sleeve designed by The Fool art collective and the cut-out insert sheet designed by Peter Blake.

Vinyl: EXCELLENT 
Labels: EXCELLENT +
The labels are bright, clean and without writing. Only one or two very light spindle marks can be seen to either side.
Visual: EXCELLENT 
The record displays superb deep-gloss playing surfaces. Only a couple of light stylus skates are visible in bright daylight. Underneath the haze of a halogen desk lamp a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines can be seen alongside a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT

As can be heard in the recordings, the audio is fantastic. This copy has clearly been played cautiously on good quality equipment. There are quiet lead-ins to both sides and minimal static in between tracks. There is great channel separation, clear vocals and punchy bass. 
Sleeve: EXCELLENT 
The iconic sleeve looks superb! The wide spine really makes the sleeve stand out. The laminate on four sides retains the original lustre and the cover art is bright and vibrant. The corners show subtle softening. The top and bottom edges are without wear. The opening edge is without wear.
Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT +
The original inner sleeve is in great condition. The colours are bright and there is minimal discolouration to the white section. The cutout insert is in perfect condition.

Additional Details:
Before the audio test, the vinyl was cleaned first by an Okki Nokki vacuum cleaner (using L'art du Son cleaning solution) and then an Audio Desk ultrasonic cleaner.
After cleaning, the vinyl is housed inside a brand new mobile fidelity audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve. 
The vinyl will be packaged outside of the sleeve. The album is stored inside an archival quality polypropylene outer sleeve.
The album will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
