Description
Beatles Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band LP on Parlophone PCS 7027. 1967 Stereo. Sleeve has visible flaps on the top edges & the record labels have 'Sold in U.K'.. & ' The Gramophone Co' text. Matrix No's are YEX 637-1 & YEX 638-1. I believe this is a 1st pressing as per the RRPG, however it has lost it's red & white inner sleeve but does have the cut-out insert. Gatefold is VG, some wear in the corners but all intact. Vinyl VG, side 1, very clean but has a few surface marks which cause the odd muffled 'pop' & 'phut'. There is also a little surface noise on the run-in. Side 2 is in excellent condition as are the Black & Yellow Parlophone labels. Oddly the rear of the sleeve has the mono cat. No. Overall a very reasonable copy.
