Description
Time for this long-time Beatles collector to clean house!
This is the original 1967 mono release of Sgt. Pepper. I am the original owner, and this has been stored with the rest of my Beatles collection in my smoke-free home since 1967. I attached several pictures so you can judge condition for yourself, but I'll include the following information to help:
- Cover - The record cover has wear on front and back. There is a small white scratch on the inside front cover, see photo. Seam splits of 4 1/2 inches at top, 3 inches at bottom. Slight damage along spine sleeve.
- Insert - The original insert is intact, no damage.
- Inner sleeve - original multicover inner sleeve, approx 4 inch seam split at bottom, staple mark in one corner.
- Record - Record labels are in good shape, no writing or other marks. A few light scratches are visible on the record when viewed under bright light.
- General - This apparently is one of the earlier pressings, as song two is titled "A Little Help From My Friends" - the word "With" was added to later versions. I'm not an expert, but I think there were some variations to the wording on the back label credits, so I've included a close-up photo of those details. Hope this helps.
