Here is a pretty nice first-issue mono copy of this great album.
You can see condition of the cover from the photos, which are the item for sale. It's very good, lamination in good condition, flipbacks at top of the inside of the gatefold. I'll mention minor defects - a little wear to the corners, a little wear at the openings. Ring-wear, which has dulled the lamination on front and back, in a circle. Spine isn't great. Cut-outs sheet is present. "The Fool" inner-sleeve is present, but tatty, torn at sides.
Playing surface shows some scratches, but nothing large or heavy. I wanted to see what this one would sound like, so I cleaned it, then play-tested it all the way through. No jumps or sticking. Only occasional audible sounds from scratches, just here-and-there, and not loud. These 60s records were pressed with deep grooves, so that they often sound fine, despite visible damage. Original sound is still present, this is not worn-out - it sounds pretty-much as a mono copy of this ought to sound.
Rare Record Price Guide suggests a price of £150 for a mint copy of this.  I could part with this one for £25.
