Description
Original UK stereo silver & black Parlophone label with the single EMI box & 'The Gramophone Co Ltd...' label rim text, and the YEX-637-1, YEX-638-1 matrix numbers, the fourth pressing of the LP which was only issued between November 1969 until December 1970!The Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light corner/edge wear and a couple of very small laminate creases on the outer cover. The spine is intact & fully readable, the plain company inner is in VG+ condition and the cut out sheet is in EX condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of very faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two light needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of couple of spindle markings! The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief backgound noise during the run in grooves before the music starts, overall a really great loud and punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; YEX-637-1, stamper 2-GHG, YEX-638-1, stamper 4-GLM. This is one of the very early pressings of the late 1969 UK stereo 4th issue of this classic 1967 album!
