Labels: NEAR MINT

An outstanding unworn pair with just a few barely visible spindle trails around the the side 2 centre hole, but essentially 'as new'.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Both playing surfaces are clean, glossy and unmarked upon examination in strong daylight with no scuffs, marks or scratches on either side. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals numerous wispy paper-type hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal but no other blemishes whatsoever. Both sides appear 100% flat when playing on the turntable and are free from any dishing or warping.

Play: EXCELLENT +

This copy has clearly received very little play indeed and my single careful play-check at volume found no evidence of any groove/play wear on any track. The only significant distractions I detected on side 1 were two ticks on track 1 & at the end of 'She's Leaving Home'. Side 2 has a single 'pop' on the final tracks - but I am being really fussy and there is very little to fault overall. In essence, this is a fine sounding, little played and well-looked after example of the superior mono mix which will not disappoint.

Cover

EXCELLENT +

An extremely well-preserved example of this iconic cover which retains a perfectly clean, undamaged & unscratched high-gloss front panel laminate which bears no 'thumbnails' or any other traces of wear whatsoever. There is slight bruising to the corners but all opening edges are free from any wear or damage. The inside of the gatefold is vivid & vibrant with just a few slivers of missing paper to the uncovered edges of the flipbacks but has clearly never been fully opened out (I didn't attempt it either). The rear panel is as vivid & vibrant as the front but bears a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle and faint disc impression but nothing significant or major. All seams of both pockets are perfectly smooth, unstressed & unsplit and the spine is clean, fully worded & laminated. Tough to find a better example.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT

A bright & crisp example with nothing more than some minor storage creasing and no writing, splits or tears.
