Labels: NEAR MINT

A pristine pair bearing just two faint spindle trails around the side 1 centre and a tiny mark at the lower edge of the hole on side 2.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from a single 2cm non-feelable surface mark are totally unmarked when viewed strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath my powerful and unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than some harmless wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve and a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this outstanding copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +

This wonderful sounding copy has received just one or two careful plays on high-end equipment and as a result the sound quality is clean, warm & wonderful throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear on any track or either channel. My single careful play-check at volume detected just few soft ticks on the fade-out of 'Fixing A Hole' into the introduction to 'She's Leaving Home' caused by the aforementioned mark, but no other noticeable audible distractions.

Cover: NEAR MINT

A wonderful early example of this cover which has been carefully stored and barely touched over the past 46 years.

The front panel is immaculately clean and retains a vibrant unfaded and unscratched high-gloss laminate with no 'thumbnail' wrinkles or storagewear rubbing.

There is a slight bruise to the rear upper right corner but all others are sharp & unworn. All opening edges too are clean & sharp without any tears or feathering.

The inside of the gatefold is immaculate and as it was the day it left the factory.

The rear panel is just as clean & glossy as the front, again with no 'thumbnails' or even a single spine bend. The seams of both pockets are smooth & unstressed with no missing or flaking laminate.

The spectacular spine is clean, white & fully laminated along its entire length and with a perfect text.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & flat with just a little 'rippling' from storage but but no writing, tears or seam splits.

Cut-out sheet: MINT
