Labels: EXCELLENT
A fine clean & unblemished pair with bear just a small collection of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are extremely clean & glossy with just a handful of harmless light hairlines visible in strong daylight but no scuffs or other significant marks or wear. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals just a sparkling rainbow shine does little more than highlight the aforementioned blemishes. Both sides of this very respectable copy lie 100% flat when playing.
Play: VERY GOOD +
This copy has received a moderate amount of careful play and is without any major deterioration to the sound quality or indeed any major faults. My careful play-check at volume picked up some groove wear on the peaks of the opening track and some background on the delicate introduction to 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds'. Elsewhere however, there is little to fault aside from an occasional hint of background slight wear to the louder passages on 'A Day In The Life', but certainly no heavy clicks, pops or any other such major audible faults.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
The front panel of this fine example has a bright & totally unscratched high-gloss front laminate with a few light creases towards the opening edge but none whatsoever to the spine or edges. There is slight bruising to the corners but all opening edges are clean, sharp & unworn. The inside of the gatefold is vivid & unworn. The rear panel is as vivid & vibrant as the front with just a few light indentation lines from storage & a few tiny spine wrinkles but nothing major. I have only down graded from the full EX due to a 2.cm upper seam split on the rear pocket. However, all the other are undamaged and the spine is clean, unworn and fully laminated & worded.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT -
Clean & flat with a faint disc impression and a few aged fingermarks but no writing, seam splits or tears anywhere.
