1967 UK 1st PRESS *MONO* LP

Black & yellow Parlophone label - PMC 7027

With the 'Sold In UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims on both labels.

The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.

Housed in a fully laminated, inner-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono gatefold cover.

Complete with red & white designer inner-sleeve & MINT cut-out sheet.

Matrix nos: XEX 637-1 & XEX 638-1

A beautiful, unworn set with the silver centre marker still visible around the hole on both sides.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Both sides are in pristine, as new, unmarked condition - displaying just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly under halogen light. There are no scuffs, marks or scratches to either side on this remarkable copy.

Play: NEAR MINT

This fabulous, bass-rich mono copy sounds completely 'as new' throughout. There are no traces of groovewear or background noise on any track. Eeven the easily damaged 'She's Leaving Home' plays perfectly without any of the usual break-up or wear. In fact, apart from a few light ticks on 'When I'm 64', the entire disc is in perfect audio condition.

Cover

EXCELLENT

A clean, glossy & vibrant example with a top class front panel which bears no 'thumbnail' creases at all. The left corners have some slight storage wear but all and opening edges are clean, sharp & undamaged. The rear panel is as clean as the front with just 3 small 'thumbnail' creases but no scratching or missing laminate. The inside is 'as new' and has clearly not been opened in many year (I have not attemped to open it fully). The standard width spine is fully worded & laminated and undamaged.

Light storagewear but no major faults.
