Description
I have now sold most of my HiFi equipment and the rest will be listed soon. My collection of LPs will never be played by me again so I have decided to sell the whole lot. Most are in excellent condition and only played a handful of times latterly on my linn Sondek LP12 with moving coil cartridge. I have looked after every LP with loving care but some are better than others. None are perfect, they are up to 50 years old and all sleeves show some signs of aging, use and storage.
I will list each album separately and over several weeks.
This listing is for a Beatles, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album which I bought new as soon as it was released and I have played it many times over the years. It was one of the first albums I bought. I have shown pictures of the gatefold sleeve and it is in good condition, very glossy and with only minor creasing at the lower edge. No cuts, tears or delamination.
The record has quite a lot of feint marking and surface scratching on both sides though this is not audible when playing. There are some minor clicks and pops but nothing intrusive though the quality of recording really is not what we would expect these days. The labels are undamaged though with some minor spindle marks around the centre hole. This is a Parlophone PCS 7027 stereo recording and the label on side 1 shows the early error in the 'SOLD IN. U. K.' extra full stop. I have tried to show this in the last picture.
I understand that the numbers scratched around the runout groove by the label can be important so I have looked at these and list them here.

I have bought some cardboard record postal sleeves and stiffeners and the LP will be sent in one of these.

I didn't even know there was a cutout with the album!
YES the cutout sheet (just 1 sheet) is still intact and present.
