Description
The Beatles - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
(Parlophone PMC 7027 UK LP 1967)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. This pressing as an export "Odeon" sleeve which is printed in Germany. It has a UK pressed record.
It has a fully laminated gatefold sleeve which has inner flipbacks. It comes with its original psychedelic inner sleeve.
The record has black & yellow "Parlophone" labels. They have "The Gramophone Co..." & "Sold in UK..." texts. The matrix numbers are: XEX 637-1 and XEX 638-1. The mother stampers are RDM 5 7 and AHG 8 (There are a couple of crossed out numbers also). There is no card insert.
Gatefold Sleeve: Some mild wear only. VG+ condition.
Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. There are about 4 light hairline marks on one side. VG condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ to near excellent. Some very light crackle in some of the quieter passages.
The Psychedelic Inner Sleeve has a 5" seam split at the bottom. It has 3.5" tear at the opening on one side. It is in good condition.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
