The Beatles - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
(Parlophone PCS 7027 UK LP 1967)
This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a fully laminated gatefold sleeve which has inner flipbacks (Garrod & Lofthouse). It comes with its original custom psychedelic inner sleeve. This has the "Patents Applied For" text. It also comes with the card "cut-out" insert.
The record has black & yellow Parlophone labels. They have "The Gramophone Co..." & "Sold in UK..." texts. The matrix numbers are: YEX 637-1 and YEX 638-1. The mother stampers are GOM 2 and GOA 1. "KT" is stamped around the spindle hole on Side 1's label. A genuine UK 1st Stereo pressing.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is a small pin hole in the top & bottom corner, near the sleeve opening, on the front & rear sleeve. There is one other pin hole at the top front. There is some light to mild rubbing wear at the corner tips. There is some light to mild ringwear, & some light to mild rubbing wear to the spine. VG condition.
Vinyl: Mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. There are two very small hairline marks & two slightly longer hairline marks. VG+ condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear only. Plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall, & Excellent in some places! There is some light, or very light, crackle in a few quieter places.
The Psychedelic Inner Sleeve has some mild fading in places. There is a mild crease that runs horizontally across the bottom. It is in VG++ condition. There are no seam splits. The card insert is in Very Near EX condition. There is very light wear only.
The vinyl shall be placed in a separate paper inner sleeve to protect the psychedelic inner from damage in transit.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.50 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
