Description
This is the Beatles legendary LP Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band in glorious Mono on the black and yellow Parlophone label, PMC 7027, original UK release from June 1967.
Visually the vinyl is in excellent condition with just a little bag rash and a couple of unfeelable and unheard marks.
Stampers are 2MP and 3MD, matrix xex 637-1 and xex 638-1.
The record plays excellently too with the odd pop here and there and a little background during the quieter moments. There are no jumps or repeats.
Both labels correctly state sold in UK etc. and are in excellent condition with very few spindle trails visible.
The set comes with the red and white Fool designed inner sleeve in lovely condition with no seam splits but with a small 1cm tear to the opening edge.
The correct cut out sheet is also included but it does have a crease.
The cover, again correct for this issue is in excellent condition with no seam splits and a fully readable spine, there are some tiny corner bumps. The fully laminated panels are brilliantly shiney, there is a small crease about 3cm right of the front panel, please view the pics. The gatefold opens with a nice creaking noise so I guess has not been viewed too often. The top internal flaps have no damage whatsoever.
A lovely honest package.
