Beatles “Something New “ mono Capitol Records first pressing in open shrink MINT

First pressing MONO. T-2108 RIAA 5 ( almost in middle of back cover ) All Songs BMI . Dead wax reads side one T-1-2108-F11-2 starburst . Side two T-2-2108-G10-2 starburst . Apparently this is an L.A. pressing .I’m not a collector of Capitol Records,so I had to defer to others that know them well.  1.And I Love Her. Paul’s voice is not double tracked like other pressings . Just a single voice . 2. If I Fell. Also not double tracked vocals . 3. Longer version of “ Ill Cry Instead . 4.Different mono mix on “ When I Get Home “ When I got this record it was in Shrink that was falling away, but it did it’s job. Cover looks like new NO RINGWEAR anywhere on cover. Nothing even close to a seam split.  I peeled off enough to get to record, had a brown inner sleeve which I was about to toss, as I always put albums in lined inner sleeves , but I did save it, it’s in cover, not easy to get back in without the record in it . Please review all pictures . What looks like a scratch on the label around “ If I Fell “ is NOT a scratch , it’s in the printing of the label. Needless to say there are no spindle lines around holes. If there is ANY defect ,it’s on Capitol Records , not me. It looks perfect , and I’ll assume it will play like a new record. If you want me to have it cleaned ,and play it first let me know . It will be shipped in lined inner sleeve outside of cover, and a piece of thin cardboard between record and cover, hence not a chance of any record impression on cover. As mentioned I only deal in imports ,and don’t know much about Capitol Records . Look at closeups of labels, are the times correct for each song etc. ? I just happened to get a stack of new old stock Capitol Records in Shrink, I’ve had to open them to see which pressings they were. I’ve got two Beatles 65 albums, Both Stereo. One Subsidiary label, other a lime label. Meet the Beatles Stereo , no gold banner on cover, apparently it is a 65 pressing , I’ll have to look further, Help gatefold ,White as snow . All were in Shrink . Admittedly , I could have taken care of inner sleeves better , as mentioned they’re paper with ads ,and I put albums in MoFi inners ,or some other brands that are poly . Still the inner sleeves have no seam splits, covers look like new,as do labels and records . Shipping for this album $4.00 USA $14.00 rest of world. No China,Russia,Portugal ,Greece etc.  

eBay ! I tried to include good pictures. However,apparently once you post pictures, even if they are not good, you can’t go back and change them. I tried to show a picture of back cover close up of Shrink, as it appears the back cover may have some browning. IT DOESNT ! It’s as white as it was the day it was put out in 1964. I did notice something under Shrink on back cover, look at last picture. It looks like someone may have tried to take Shrink off before possibly. Look closely after I think it was second line, you’ll see two small spots,difficult to explain. Blow up the picture if you can’t see it. I didn’t notice it until now. Still the cover is beautiful , but it does have that area that appears to have been slit. As mentioned before,the white line on If I Fell is a Capitol Records error on the label, when you see it you’ll know immediately,that it was the printing error on the label. Not even a HINT of RINGWEAR . As stated before, this cover,and record as for all intents new. That one area on back cover is ONLY flaw. I now have viewed others selling this same album, only with the Shrink still in tact $950-$995.00 . Had I only known mint Capitol Records demand anything even close to that, I would have put a reserve on this record. Then there’re is some clown that has one for sale as “UNPLAYED “ you’ve got to see the ad to believe it . Take a look. I’ll be posting the other Capitol albums this weekend, all in Shrink, but I opened them. Look at my past history of selling beatles albums, all are imports, I knew nothing of Capitol Records until recently . All the others I’m selling are sixties pressings ,and in same condition as this one.
