‘THE BEATLES MILLION SELLERS’ – A UK BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE MONO VINYL EP – GEP 8946
This is an ORIGINAL UK MONO FIRST ISSUE Vinyl EP for The Beatles Million Sellers EP, this rare variant has the GRAMOPHONE CO LTD Label Rim, with Made in Gt Britain label text, and the Sold in UK label print, and a KT tax code on the side 2 record label.
This is the rare **FIRST ISSUE** label variant with the label error print that reads, **BEATLES GOLDEN DISCS**, this label error was later corrected and all subsequent issues correctly read **The Beatles Million Sellers.**
Both record labels are in Near Mint condition, super clean labels, showing only a couple of light spindle lines.
Official side 1 matrix is 7TCE 888-1/Side 7TCE 889-1.
Side 1 stampers are: KT1 GR, & Side 2: KT2 GG. The embossed **KT** tax code is visible to the centre of the side 2 record label.
Both sides of the vinyl EP disc are in superb Excellent Plus condition, with nothing more than a couple of light superficial surface hairlines, but no deep scratches or scuffs.
The EP comes in its ORIGINAL front laminated ‘MONO’ sleeve with rounded corner flipbacks to the reverse.
The original sleeve is in Excellent Plus condition, a superb sleeve showing just minor record label indentation to the front and back, the top flipback has come slightly unstuck, all edges and corners are undamaged.
The EP plays EXTREMELY WELL with NO faults.
This is a superb example of this rare variant 1965 issue Beatles EP, with the rare label error.
