Description

(Note to newbies: “Still in shrink does not mean still sealed!  It means the album is opened, but the owner didn’t pull the shrink off the cover.)

This week’s auctions are from my A-List.  All Beatles LP’s listed will either be first or second pressings, all still in the shrink!  Be sure to look at them all.

Cover--- Nice, tight shrinkwrap.  Looks like there was some trauma on George’s shoulder, but the shrink took the force of the blow.  There’s about a 3” split in the shrink at the top right corner, where some yellowing was allowed to occur.  Other than that, all the seams are rock-solid, spine is bold and sharp.  Back cover has slightly yellowed, and there is some more pronounced, but not bad yellowing, specifically to the mouth of the back cover.  There are two breathe holes on the back, No RIAA.

Inner Sleeve---The originally issued inner sleeve is present.  It’s the olive green Capitol sleeve. Two seams are steady-strong.  One side seam has a small center split, maybe an inch.  Your “The Early Beatles” LP will be shipped in a generic inner sleeve, so as not to damage your original Capitol sleeve during shipping.

Vinyl---Drop-dead gorgeous, gleaming blinding vinyl.  Looks stunning brand new.  Two extremely light lines, which you will have to search to find.  You’ll find them under a direct bright and bare bulb, but not in normal room lighting.  Side 1 plate is from the Scranton plant, with the older style anvil (or open-book) logo.  This was in use before the more well-known “IAM” triangle.  Side 2 is a Jacksonville plate, with the machine-stamped letter “O.”  Plates are B2/ W1.

Labels---Labels are perfect.  Not a single spindle mark.

(Please note that due to time constraints, I have had to stop play-testing my vinyl.  However, I am happy to by request.  As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Check out my other auctions for more hard-to-find vinyl!

Shipping is $4.00 for Media Mail for up to 3 single or double albums, excluding boxed sets.

Winners in all other countries will be charged actual shipping to their locations, so please wait to be invoiced.  You will be quoted for the cheapest shipping to your country that the US post office can afford me.  Please let me know if you would prefer to pay for a faster means of shipping, but do NOT ask me to declare packages as gifts, or any other means of defrauding the postal services.  Much appreciated.

I ship on Mondays and Thursdays.  This means that immediate payments will be shipped out the following morning, and later payments must wait until the first available Monday or Thursday after payment is received.  Please pay within 7 days of the auction ending.  I do leave negative feedback for non-payers.

Money back guarantee if you're not happy with your purchase.
