DESCRIPTION: Beatles LP- The White Album. Unnumbered fully laminated side loader with embossed BEATLES print.. In gatefold sleeve and complete with poster and 4 prints. With one apple inner and one plain white inner. Apple labels. Matrix- YEX 709-1/710-3/711-1/712-1. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Apple PCS7068 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1968 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+/VG+. Vinyls are both very clean with a nice sheen. There are a few light hairlines that prevent me from grading EX. Played passages of both discs today on my Pro-ject Deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent. Clean and loud. Cover is firm and square with nice shape and has light edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. Nice shape to fully ledgible spine. Cover is clean allround. It has a small scratch on front cover.. Its been kept in a PVC double LP sleeve with the vinyl outside the cover. Poster and photo inserts are all clean. Poster has a small tear at one of folds.The lennon photo has a small area of cellotape residue on bottom and they have tiny pieces of blu-tac residue to back. Clean labels. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
