Description

Last month I began putting up for auction MANY BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVES & MATCHING 45 RPM RECORDS from my OWN VINYL COLLECTION. Here is ROUND 2!!! So if you missed out on some picture sleeves last month, here’s another opportunity. If you want to begin a collection of Beatles Singles Picture Sleeves or are seeking to upgrade certain picture sleeves, please check out my other current auctions and upcoming auctions for items you may want.

In this auction are 2 Beatles Picture Sleeves with 2 Beatles original Capitol orange-yellow swirl label 45 RPM records.

Here are the details on the picture sleeves and records:

Record/Picture Sleeve #1:

·       “YELLOW SUBMARINE” b/w “ELEANOR RIGBY” by The Beatles

·       This is Capitol Records 5715.

·       This record was released August 5, 1966.

·       The PICTURE SLEEVE CONDITION is NICE VG+. There is some slight disc impression and some slight folds (folds, not creases).  There are 2 pairs of staple holes near the top where the original record store stapled the sleeve closed to keep the record from sliding out when handled. There is VERY SLIGHT ring wear (check images to see). This is a particularly hard sleeve to find without some ring wear on the dark images. There are NO SEAM SPLITS, NO TEARS, NO CREASES, and NO WRITING.

·       This is a tab-cut (WEST COAST) Sleeve.

·       The VINYL is NEAR MINT.

Record/Picture Sleeve #2:

·       “NOWHERE MAN”  b/w “WHAT GOES ON” by The Beatles

·       This is Capitol Records 5587.

·       This record was released February 15, 1966.

·       The PICTURE SLEEVE CONDITION is STRONG NEAR MINT MINUS. Only a couple of slight folds (folds, NOT creases) on a top corner kept me from grading the sleeve Near Mint. This sleeve is NICE and FLAT. Naturally with this grade there are NO SEAM SPLITS, NO TEARS, NO RING WEAR, and NO WRITING.

·       This is a tab-cut (WEST COAST) Sleeve..

·       The VINYL is NEAR MINT.

This is a NICE PAIR OF BEATLES’WEST COAST PICTURE SLEEVES AND RECORDS TO ADD TO YOUR BEATLES’ VINYL COLLECTION!!

(Thanks to Perry Cox’s book Price Guide for the Beatles American Records for information about these 3 records and sleeves.)
