Description
Last month I began putting up for auction MANY BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVES & MATCHING 45 RPM RECORDS from my OWN VINYL COLLECTION. Here is ROUND 2!!! So if you missed out on some picture sleeves last month, here’s another opportunity. If you want to begin a collection of Beatles Singles Picture Sleeves or are seeking to upgrade certain picture sleeves, please check out my other current auctions and upcoming auctions for items you may want.
Here are the details on the picture sleeves and records:
Record/Picture Sleeve #1:
· “ ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE” b/w “BABY YOU’RE A RICH MAN” by The Beatles
· This is Capitol 5964.
· This record was released July 17, 1967.
· The PICTURE SLEEVE CONDITION is NICE VG to WEAK VG+. There is some slight disk impression and a few very slight folds (not creases). There is what appears to be some slight ink splatter on George’s face on one side. There are NO tears and NO seam splits. It is MOSTLY A FLAT SLEEVE with minimal wear at the opening and a small VERY LIGHT crease.
· This is a Straight-cut EAST COAST Sleeve.
· The VINYL is NEAR MINT MINUS.
Record/Picture Sleeve #2:
· “ HELLO GOODBYE” b/w “I AM THE WALRUS” by The Beatles
· This is Capitol 2056.
· This record was released November 27, 1967.
· The PICTURE SLEEVE CONDITION is NICE VG to WEAK VG+. There are 2 small tears at the opening, a small corner crease, and some writing in blue ink on “BEATLES” on the “Hello Goodbye/I Am The Walrus” side. There is some slight disk impression. There are NO seam splits.
· This is a Straight-cut East Coast Sleeve.
· The VINYL is NEAR MINT.
This sleeve in particular is desirable for its GREAT PORTRAIT of THE BEATLES on this sleeve at this time in their recording careers.
Here is a NICE PAIR OF BEATLES’PICTURE SLEEVES RELEASED IN THE SGT. PEPPER TIME PERIOD TO ADD TO YOUR BEATLES’ VINYL COLLECTION!!
(Thanks to Perry Cox’s book Price Guide for the Beatles American Records for information about these 2 records and sleeves.)
