Beatles UK Revolver MONO first pressing Decca rim RARE 1966 Parlophone

Beatles original 1966 mono UK pressing of Revolver PMC-1267. Matrices XEX-605-2-4/MO and XEX-606-2-1/A. This is the rarest one actually,even more so than the 1 matrices. This has the Decca rim on labels. Ironically this exact album sold last week for $770.70 # 290710368533 . It was in slightly better condition. The thing that is interesting is it has the EXACT SAME MATRICES . Look it up.

This has Dr. Robert on both label and back cover. "SOLD IN THE UK " text on labels and KT tax code on side two. Flip back cover has "Pat. Pending".
Inner sleeve is a Decca lined sleeve. This cannot be the way it went out. There is no way EMI would let Decca advertise a Beatles album,even if they did press it.But it is there and that is the way it came to me.


Condition is VG+ would possibly be higher ,but on tracks one and two on side two ( Good Day Sunshine,And your Bird Can Sing ) have a bit of an anomaly. There is one small area that distorts each time it hits this certain area. Looks like a small area of groove wear,but it can't be. I track at one gram. It does not go around the entire revolution of the vinyl either song,just isolated to a small area. But it distorts a little when it goes over that. Still plays entirely through and it is noticeable if you listen for it. Other than that,it sounds great. Vinyl still shiny and retains a nice gloss.

Cover is also VG+ no seam splits and flip backs are totally intact. Refer to pictures. LABELS ARE EX. No white out at spindle holes and if you notice the KT tax code has NO wear or writing anywhere on labels or cover. That is a tell tale sign when the KT or spindle holes start to white out.( Generally means record has been played to death )
Inner sleeve is EX.
Overall a solid VG+ condition record and cover.
I have to mention something here. As I am new to e bay selling. I wanted to get some positive feedback,so I said I would sell a couple of albums for a friend a couple of weeks ago. He sent pictures and told me of condition. Well,the condition was nothing like what was described and I refunded both people their money. The ones I sold that were mine were fine and I got great feedback $420. for the "Hey Jude" album,which I understand is a good price for someone new to selling one e bay.
Rest assured,I will NOT be selling for anyone else again.

I got a few of these from a friend in England and I am keeping one for myself and selling the other two. Never opened.Check them out. 180 vibyl with custom labels and Paul's lithographs that measure 12 by 12 inches. Really a nice gate fold set. Very hard to get on vinyl now,as they only did ONE PRESSING of this particular album on vinyl with the large litho's and custom Parlophone labels for Paul.

WHAT I MEANT TO SAY IN RESPECT TO HAVING THE SAME MATRICES WAS NOT THE ENTIRETY OF WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY. THE MONO REVOLVER THAT JUST SOLD FOR $770.70 HAD THE EXACT SAME RIM AS WELL AS MATRICES 2/2 AND BOTH THE STAMPERS AND MOTHERS WERE ALSO IDENTICAL.
